Eligibility
General: Any person employed as deputy conservators, harbour masters, Dock Masters, Dredge Masters or Pilot in any of the major or minor ports of India is eligible to be a member of the AIMPA. This includes Pilots under training, ad-hoc services and temporary services, and those serving as pilots on their own accord for vessels.
Membership is subject to approval from Executive council.
Age requirement: 18 years and above.

Death and permanent disability cover of Rs. 2 Crore as per the terms and conditions of group insurance policy.
Institutional head
Right to the institutional head or legal representative of institute to be a gold member without insurance benefit
Policy making
Right to policy making for Piloting and allied port operations.

Affiliate members are eligible for other benefits as decided by the AIMPA
Membership Charges
Registration fee of Rs. 100 (one time) applies to all membership categories.
Subscription fees are payable during the first week of April every year.
